STEPS FOR QUALIFIED FIRST-TIME APPLICANTS

1. Fill Out Application Form

  • Basic contact information
  • Current financial status
  • Educational goal, plan, and history
  • Write your narrative responses (short essays)

2. Request Your Recommendations

Applicants MUST have two recommendations (one of each from the following categories below)

Professional Recommendation form must be completed by one of the following

  • Domestic Violence Service Provider
  • Counselor/Therapist/Social Worker
  • Attorney
  • Law enforcement
  • Medical professional

Personal Recommendation letter may come from one of the following

  • Family Member
  • Friend
  • Coworker
  • Or any professional not listed above

3. Upload Documents & Submit

1. FAFSA Student Aid Index (SAI)
2. Income Tax Return – First Two Pages
3. Academic Plan – Your “road map” to graduation
4. One Professional Recommendation Form
5. One Personal Recommendation Letter
